As corny as it is, this girl is a true gem -- and she was named long before her personality even had the chance to emerge!! Gemma is the happy-go-lucky, friendly sister of a litter of pups who were rescued at just 2 days old after being abandoned in a field and left to die. She's been hand-raised ever since and has grown into a beautiful healthy girl! She makes friends very easily with other dogs and people of all ages -- she just knows how to blend in!! She LOVES playing with toys and if there's no one around to play with, she's happy tossing them for herself. Gemma is about 5 months old , she's healthy and she's already spayed. We think she'll be in the 50 pound range fully grown but we have no idea what her true mix is. Gemma is being fostered with other dogs and children so she's getting lots of love and socialization. Please note that Gemma's biggest challenge is that she still has some food aggression issues so her new family will need to make the commitment to help continue to work through that issue.
