Darla's Story...
This is Darla, she's a sweet and gentle senior girl that gets along well with everyone. Darla is about 8 years old and she does have a cataract on her right eye due to a previous ulcer, however she gets around just fine. She is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing treatment. Darla is currently being fostered by a member of our staff and seems to be housebroken (she has had just one accident).

Darla's adoption fee is $75 which includes vaccinations and worming, however due to her age we may elect not to have her spayed. For more info please give us a call at 251-368-0859 M-F 7:30am - 4:30pm.

Act quickly to adopt Darla. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darla, a Atmore Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Atmore, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Atmore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atmore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atmore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atmore paves the way for another one to be saved.
