Caine's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Caine's Story...
Caine and Tiffa came to the shelter as puppies and were adopted out while still puppies. Unfortunately circumstances changed at home and the owner no longer had the time to spend with them that he felt they needed. So, once again they are waiting for the person who knows that good things come in twos to find and adopt them. Caine is the shy one of the two, needing time to warm up to someone. He is uncomfortable when Tiffa is not with him which is why they must go together. Caine is up to date on shots, neutered, heartworm negative, and is on heartworm preventative. The adoption fee for Tiffa and Caine is $125.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Caine, a Portland Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Portland, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
