Katie Rose's Story...
Heyyyy everyone!! My name is Katie Rose and I am just a LOVE! I came to Pitties & Purrs this past year when I found myself at a high kill shelter. Not only was I there, but I was pregnant!! I was immediately pulled from the shelter and put into my amazing foster home where I am currently staying. It was there that I got the best care. When the time came, I had a c-section to have all SIXTEEN puppies!! Since then, all my beautiful babies have been adopted, and now, it is just me. I love my foster mom and dad so much but I am now looking to find a home of my very own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katie Rose, a Baltimore American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
