My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MANDY is a young terrier mix, abandoned with her three pups when her people moved. We estimate her date of birth to be July 2013. Fully grown, she stands about 15 inches at the shoulder and weighs about 35 lb. She is spayed, fully-vaccinated, heartworm negative, de-wormed and current on monthly flea, tick and heartworm preventives. Caring neighbors found her and her pups living under the house where her people had once lived, doing the best she could to survive, waiting for her folks to return. They did not. Mandy used to be an inside dog who was wonderful with the children, so it's hard to imagine why her people would have abandoned her. She is house-trained, knows how to use the doggie door, and walks on-leash. She sleeps in a crate at night at her multi-dog foster home but would probably prefer to sleep on her person's bed. Mandy is sweet, friendly and affectionate. The most important thing to her is being with her human. She would love to have a life that allows for plenty of lap time. This is a courtesy posting.
