Skipper is a very sweet, timid Husky that just loves to play with other dogs. He would do best in a home that has other dogs for him to play with and with an active owner that can take him for walks and runs. He is good on a leash and housebroken. He is a Husky, therefore can be an escape artist. He does not like being in a crate, separated from others. He has been free in his foster home and has not done anything destructive. Skipper is blind in only the left eye, therefore his depth perception is off and he may take time with getting in or out of vehicles. Whoever adopts Skipper will be getting a very sweet boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skipper, a Madison Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Madison, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
