Facts about MR. REDD

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog Mix
  • Color: Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Mr. Redd is about 8 years old and he is thought to be Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mix. He weighs about 90 pounds and looks much healthier and happier than he did when he was first taken in from the Pender Shelter. He has completed his heartworm treatments and is doing great. Mr. Redd is up to date on shots, has recently been wormed and neutered. He is a great guy. Loves, loves, loves his toys and loves people. Because he is an older boy Mr. Redd will need a home without lots of stairs that he has to go up and down and also no slick floors that he would constantly be walking across. He is not very good with other animals so he should be the only pet in the home. After all he has been through to get him healthy he deserves to be the only pet and to get all the love that his new family can give him. He is crate trained, house trained, walks well on a leash and knows some basic commands. We are so happy with his progress and he is now healthy, happy and ready for a furever home!

About Coastal Canine Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small group of people that work full time at "normal" jobs, but we also feel in our hearts that we want to make a difference. Each of us have multiple pets and we just want to share our love with the pets that other people discard for one reason or another. We want to show that abandoned, lost or hurt dog that there is still love in the world and we can find it for them.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do most of our adoptions on line, but do attend Petsmart on Saturdays. Not all of our pets are ready to come to Petsmart so even if our pets are not there, we will be there to take applications or to show you our book of pets that are available.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process is similar to other Rescue groups. You will need to fill out an adoption application, provide a vet reference and tell us a little about yourself and why you want to adopt a rescue dog. Our adoption fees are $200 which includes all age appropriate vaccines, heartworm testing/heartworm free, wormings and spay or neutering of the dog. Senior dog adoption fees may be waived depending on the age and health of the dog.
