Meet Lila! This little petite flower is a little lover girl! All she wants is to be loved and cuddled. Trust me. You can hold her and she will be content. She gets along with all the other dogs in the playground and isn't bothered by cats! She has potential to be a little diva. Did you see the way she poses with her paw in the air? She knows how to walk the runway. So be prepared for someone with some entitlement issues ;) Seriously, this little pose is insanely cute and it's when she is inquisitive. Her feminine little face is bound to win anyone over. Just inquire.

If you would like to adopt Lila, please contact Barrie at doubledogbarrie@comcast.net

Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:

Thorough veterinary examination

All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming

Spay/Neuter

All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.

If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)

NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
