We'd like to introduce you to our very lovely lady, Lollie. Lollie is about 6 years old and led a life of misery before being rescued by the good people at our AHS Newark facility. Lollie was found chained to a tree in a garbage strewn yard in the middle of winter with other dogs, roosters and pigeons (as seen in the picture on left). She was starved, sick, and suffering terribly. After a lengthy dispute, our Animal Control Officers were able to get most of the animals out of the awful situation. Lollie was just thrilled to be warm, well fed and getting the medical care that she desperately needed. Lollie has come down to us at Popcorn Park to begin her search for a new home. She is very healthy and happy now, and just needs a great family to make her life complete. Lollie is still a bit shy and nervous when she meets new people, but she is excited to make new friends and wags her tail a mile a minute and gets a giant smile on her face when it's her turn to go for a walk. Lollie is well behaved and affectionate when she gets to know you. She would do best in a commotion-free home with older, more mature children, and no other dogs. This beautiful girl is so eager to start her life over....please make her dreams come true. File#23706 7/11/14
