Meet Cane. It's hard to describe Cane because being such a wonderful dog, words fall short of doing him justice. Cane, at 7 years old, was surrendered to the shelter when his owner couldn't care for him anymore. Despite this, Cane has given every ounce of his love to the workers and volunteers at the shelter. While he enjoys taking a good walk, he really likes to snuggle up with his person, and let them tell him about their day. He's well beyond his crazy puppy years and is comfortably settled into his mid life years that are more appreciative of the finer things in life, like naps and good treats and relaxing walks. House trained, quiet, kid-loving Cane is looking for a family who will love him and care for him for the rest of his long life. He's ready to move forward to his happily ever after.
