Pearl's Story...
Pearl is a beautiful 2 year old gal who is finally having a taste of the good life.Pearl was chained all of her previous life. She thinks she has hit the jackpot by being rescued by SoCo Spay and Nueter but still dreams of that family of her own. She's very eager to please, walks well on a leash and loves to run! Pearl would do well as an only dog or in a house who is willing to work on her food aggression with other dogs. She was chained with Duke, who is also available for adoption, and we suspect they are siblings although they do not get along. She has a high prey drive so a cat free home would be best.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pearl, a Pueblo American Bulldog/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Border Collie for sale in Pueblo, or seeking a American Bulldog/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Pueblo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pueblo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pueblo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Border Collie breeders who help with American Bulldog/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pueblo paves the way for another one to be saved.
