Niles's Story...
Niles is a 2yr old, 16lb, Havanese mix rescued from the overcrowded shelter. He is super sweet, adorable and all smiles! He knows the sit command and loves to be around people. Niles barks at cats and when he is excited. He is friendly and cuddly with everyone, great with strangers and other dogs and housebroken. He does well on a leash and is a very playful fellow with medium energy level. The ideal situation involves a fenced-in, grassy area to play in frequently or daily walks. He loves to be pet and roll around on things. If you are looking for a great companion who will be loyal and faithful, then Niles is your guy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Niles, a Encino Havanese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese for sale in Encino, or seeking a Havanese dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese breeders who help with Havanese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
