My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you would like more information about Barney or are interested in adopting him, please call this phone number: 713.480.1237

Barney is a type of dog they call a Chiweenie, part Chihuahua and part Dachshund. Barney was adopted primarily to be a companion to the owner’s 5 year old dachshund. But the dachshund had other ideas. He was used to being an only dog and has made it plain that he prefers it that way. Even though Barney is a very loving boy, the dachshund simply does not want him around. The owner would like to find Barney a great home. Barney has been well taken care of. He is up to date on all vaccinations, is neutered and microchipped. The vet said Barney is a very healthy young dog. He is also pretty high energy and enjoys being the boss.
