My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Angus is an incredibly cute ball of cottony fur that climbs into your heart (and lap) with a wiggle. Once he gets a sudsy bath and grooming...he'll absolutely be one of the cutest guys around. At 6-8 months old and about 11 lbs (anticipated to weigh about 15 lbs when full-grown) Angus is every bit the puppy...fun and active....but at the same time he is a very well-behaved pup who is not yappy or unnecessarily vocal - he expresses himself with his wagging tail and excited kisses. At this early point in Angus's development, he loves everyone..be it human or canine. We want to nurture this positive vision of the world by matching Angus to a family who expresses their devotion for him in many different ways. We'd like Angus to attend positive reinforcement group obedience group classes to be the very best adult dog he's capable of being. Right now, Angus is a blank slate who will soak up positive feedback with every effort to be the best behaved guy around. We'd also like Angus to be with gentle older children (13+ would be great) or with an active adult family who will include him in their activities. Angus is so portable that he can easily be a constant companion - he would love nothing more than leisurely walks, trips to the store (he's a great window-shopping friend) or even a place at a pet-friendly workplace. Angus is so young that he can be introduced to virtually any situation...and if there is love and gentle guidance...he can succeed. Angus's new family has to have the motivation and energy for a young pup...he requires house training, behavioral guidance and tons of love to give him a positive attitude about the world. Angus will not be neutered when he arrives in Denver -the Kansas shelter considered him too young. We don't... and will cover all costs to neuter and microchip Angus very shortly after his arrival in Colorado.
Angus is a non-shedding guy and will therefore require periodic grooming to keep his coat cottony-soft and matt-free.

Angus will be arriving on transport in Denver on 7/25. Applications are currently being accepted for this exceptional and very loving puppy.
