Fannie Mae's Story...
Hi, my name is Fannie Mae. My mom thinks that some one didn't want me anymore and dumped me on the side of the road. She put me in the newspaper, on TV and called the local animal shelter and put me on dog detecitve.com but no one came forward to claim me. I'm a real love bug. If you want a lap dog or a sleeping buddy here I am. I only weigh 20 pounds but I have long legs, the better to jump on your bed to keep you warn these cold nights. I get along with my mom's son he is 14 but I am skittish around men. I love to play with all the dogs at moms house and I even like the other four legged creatures that she calls kitties. Sometimes though if I can get them to run I like to play with them, but I would never hurt one (they like to sleep with me at night).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fannie Mae, a Coal City Feist/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Feist/Rat Terrier for sale in Coal City, or seeking a Feist/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Coal City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coal City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coal City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Feist/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Feist/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coal City paves the way for another one to be saved.
