My story

Meet Max! Max is an adorable and lovable beagle/lab mix who was just returned to our shelter. Adopted as a puppy, Max is now back as a young adult after his family moved and could not make him part of the journey. At 3 1/2 years old, he is again looking for a new beginning, and special person to call his own FURever.

Looking for a great companion to join your family in all your adventures? Frolicking in the yard? Splashing in the lake? Long walks through the neighborhood? Look no further than Max- this boy is ready and willing to be the dog you fall in love with!



All of our adoptable animals are spayed or neutered prior to going home and are up to date on vaccinations. To see this animal, stop in to Muskegon Humane Society located at 2640 Marquette Avenue, Muskegon MI 49442 (we are just east of both Baker and Muskegon Community colleges). Our hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11 am- 5 pm and Saturdays 10 am- 1 pm. We are closed Sundays and Wednesdays.
