Silly Jilly's Story...
My name is Silly Jilly and my sister (Anya) was adopted, now it is my turn. I (Jilly) am shorthaired and a total loverbug and lap kitty if I do say so myself. We were born in the country to a home that had so many kitties 2 more kittens were just too much for one family to handle. We have been in foster care for several weeks as we were too young for adoption. We are now 10 weeks old and ready for our own furever home. We love to play with each other and other kitties. We both have a beautiful blue coat somewhat like a Russian blue. We would love to become a part of someone’s family or a special friend for your 4 legged house buddy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Silly Jilly, a Richmond Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
