She has become very bonded with another cat while they've both recovered from their injuries in foster care. The other cat, Glover, was hit by a car and sustained some serious injuries. Betsy and Glover are both fully recovered, and would LOVE to be adopted together. He's so smitten with her! And they do everything together, like a married couple. It's so sweet!

Betsy's elderly owner thought she had fleas, so she sprayed her bedding with Raid. This is a highly toxic chemical, and it caused Betsy to try to chew off her own leg! Her owner was overwhelmed, and decided to euthanize her or take her to the "pound". ALF heard about her, and took her to a hospital instead. There her wound was treated, she was given a full neurological evaluation, and blood chemistry panel. The wound wasn't as bad as we imagined, and it has now completely recovered. She's been given a clean bill of health, with no residual effects.

Betsy is only 5 years young, and a very sweet loving girl. She gets along great with other cats, and even lives with dogs in her foster home. She would love to meet you!

Besty is negative for FeLV and FIV. She has already been spayed.

We do not know how she is with children, but as nice as she is, we believe she would be good with anyone. She just wants a forever home where she can stay inside and share her love.
