"Hello there, friends! My name is LIZA, and I'm a beautiful, pleasant sweetheart who's waiting for my forever home. Let me tell you a bit about myself. I'm a pit bull terrier/ Shar Pei blend, and I'm about two years old. I have a loving and and gentle nature, and I tend to be a bit shy with new people. It won't take me long to get to know you, then I'll be confident and affectionate. I'd want to be in an adult home so I can feel safe and secure, and I'd need a yard in my new home so I can have room to run around. I'd want to have a soft and snuggly dog bed in the house, too, so that I can be close to you. I enjoy going for walks, and I enjoy chasing toys in the play yard. Maybe we could go on hikes together! I'm a smart girl who knows how to sit on command, and I've already been house trained. I'm a respectful lady, and I'm also quiet. I get along well with some other dogs, so it really depends on the other dog. Won't you please come visit me at the El Cajon Animal Shelter? They have a really nice play yard here where we can get to know each other better. I know in my heart that you'll see how wonderful I am if you'll just give me a chance. I hope to see you soon.
