Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Whoever gets Dexter better like to cuddle! He is around 2 years old and 8 lbs, and we think he is a yorkie/poodle mix, does that mean he is a pookie? He is housebroken and doesn't need a crate when left alone, he actually isn't very fond of a crate. He sleeps in the bed and loves to be near his people. He could be an only dog or part of a pack with dogs close to his size. Big dogs that move fast scare him a bit but if it’s a calmer dog he is OK. Same with small kids – bigger calmer ones are best ; 0 ) Dexter isn't aggressive with them he just shakes when he gets scared. He loves to go for walks and he rides great in the car.
He had some dental issues due to lack of care, but he had those pulled when he was neutered and now is being well taken care of so he is all set!
To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org, or request an application via email, luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.
Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
