Hey, my name is Mildred and I’m the new Basset on the block, just sniffing around for my furever home. I’m a five-year-old knockout with nice legs, a good figure, and gorgeous velvety ears. I’m in the prime of my life and other than this whole homeless thing, I really cannot complain. If you like the Basset personality – listen up. My favorite pastime is lying in the sun during the day and under the covers with you at night! If you’re not keen on sharing your bed, then I’ll settle for a cozy dog bed. Don’t think that Bassets are lazy, I’m game for a good game of chase with my fur buds; you’d be amazed how fast these short legs can go. I’m into surfing too – counter surfing that is. A Basset follows her nose at every opportunity and when the scent involves something yummy, well who can blame a girl! Some people think I’m too talkative – I’ll bark when I need to go out, when I’m hungry, when I want to play, and often times just to hear my lovely voice! It’s music to my ears! I might be an independent thinker… but good looks go a long way… don’t they? There is nothing better than a sweet, adorable, Basset Hound to warm up the home with love and joy. Well if you know Bassets and are looking for one, you’ve just found her.
