Lucy's Story...
Hi, My name is Lucy! I am a black and white rat terrier/chihuahua puppy born April 25, 2014 to Wanda who is also available to be adopted. I have had my first 2 shots and will be spayed and micro chipped on July 28th. I am learning to be housetrained. I have been around other dogs and cats, too. I am very sweet and active. The photos of me were taken June 9, 2014 and aren't very good as I was quite wiggly! (The last photo is me with my 2 brothers.) My brothers both got adopted so now I am looking for my own home, too. My adoption donation is $200. Please call (602) 578-7767 or email brendaforpets for more information and to meet me in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Phoenix Rat Terrier/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
