PENNY's Story...
Precious PENNY was headed to a kill shelter when a rescue asked a Blues City adopter to foster her for one week. The rescue said they would take the little angel after that. 3 weeks later, no one from the rescue had shown up, and no rescue representative would answer the phone. Our adopter then called us! Blues City immediately agreed to take this baby into our care. We think PENNY was born around the beginning of June. In her short life she has been around multiple children and other dogs. She is totally sweet with all!

PENNY has been microchipped, dewormed, and gotten as many vaccinations as her age will allow.

PENNY's $425 adoption fee includes health certificate and transport to the Midwest.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PENNY, a CHICAGO Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in CHICAGO, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in CHICAGO.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in CHICAGO already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a CHICAGO breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in CHICAGO paves the way for another one to be saved.
