My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duke was rescued by Jimmie Hoffman at Cabarrus TNR from the top of a high tension electric pole owned by Duke Energy. The electric company had been called and did nothing, the fire department said they would come and squirt him off (???) How long he had been up there we don't know he had wounds that looked like burns and was starving and dehydrated. As soon as Jimmie Hoffman got him down he started purring and loving on everyone. He just relaxed right away in his carrier and had something to eat and drink purring all the time. After a couple vet visits and a few weeks recovering his fur has grown back and he has gained weight! This boy is a handsome fellow! Duke is a lap cat and complete lovebug!
