Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kalua! She is around 5 yrs old, 45 pounds.
This girl is social with kids and adults humans, very loyal and loving. She also socializes with doggies but she is cautious as first.
She does not like to share her food with other doggies, walks great on leash.

Her coat has to be brushed thoroughly at least two to three times every week. NOTE: Brushing the Afghan hound isn't a quick job as their coats are thick and can be difficult to manage. Skipping this task will result in a mess that may require a professional groomer to clean up. Please consider this expense before adopting her.

A stroll through the neighborhood after dinner is not going to be enough exercise for Kalua. She also really needs a large yard to romp and play in on a daily basis. This dog is not for apartment living.
