Ava*ADOPTED!*'s Story...
AVA HAS AN BEEN ADOPTED!Ava is a sweet, friendly and very happy 1O week old female German Shepherd mix pup in need of a loving and permanent home. Ava came to our rescue with her mother, a German Shepherd and her 3 siblings. Their father was unknown, but the pups appear to be mostly Shepherd. Sadly, shortly after their rescue, Ava's mom passed away from an infection in her uterus. This little family was rescued from a very high-kill shelter in Kentucky. The puppies are now being loved and doted on in a wonderful foster home in Chicago. All four of these pups are very happy, friendly and social dogs. We are estimating them to be around 1O weeks old as of 7/22/14. Ava and her siblings are already spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date with age appropriate vaccines and have had two rounds of de-wormer. They are now ready to meet their forever families! Their adoption donation to the rescue is $375 to help offset the costs of their care and to benefit the rescued dogs of Pal's Place. For more information or for an application to meet Ava or any of her siblings, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ava*ADOPTED!*, a Chicago German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Chicago, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
