Renee's Story...
Hello! My name is Renee. I am a sweet yet shy gal who just needs a little time to warm up. I have a lot more confidence with another dog around. I am currently living in a foster home who has another dog for me to play with. I really enjoy the company of other dogs, I lived and slept with another dog in my previous home. Once I come out of my shell I am very playful and love chew toys! My foster mom says I am super playful in the morning after I have woken her up!! I enjoy the long walks that my foster mom takes me on, they tire me out and then I snuggle up next to her on the couch. I may not be a lap dog but I do like to cuddle up close especially at night. I would love to have my own fenced in yard to run and jump around in and explore. If you would are interested in meeting me please call BHS to make an appointment as I am currently in a foster home

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Renee, a Reisterstown Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Reisterstown, or seeking a Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Reisterstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reisterstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reisterstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reisterstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
