Here's what the humans have to say about me:
http://www.valleydogs.org/hatcher.html -- I was found running down Hatcher Road in Phoenix. No one claimed me, so a kind person from Valley Dogs took me into her home to help me find a new one.
I may be small, but I’m street smart and don’t take anyone’s gruff. I am in a foster home with 8 other dogs and I get along with all of them – even the big ones - but I don’t let anyone pick on me either. I have a couple of favorite canine friends at home and we play all day long chasing each other around, so I think I would definitely like a canine brother or sister to keep my company. I’m not very big, but do have my share of energy. If you don’t have a yard, then taking me for walks a couple of times a day will be a must.
I am house trained, doggie door trained and walk well on a leash. I am a little cuddle bunny when I want to be and love to sleep in bed with you. When I get happy and excited, I dance and twirl around in circles and my tail goes a mile a minute. I am inquisitive and curious, which sometimes gets me in a bit of trouble, but nothing too bad thus far.
I think I would do okay in a home with older children who would understand a little dog like me is not a toy and would know how to correctly handle me.
