Lil Bit's Story...
Hi! I am Lil Bit, and I’m the most adorable Chihuahua you’ll meet. I’m only a year old or so, and I love to play. I get so happy when I see my foster parents and at feeding time, I can’t help but voice my excitement with a few yelps and howls. I think it’s cute, and so will you! I am trained to go into and stay in my crate without a fuss, though I do let my family know when I’m in there and I can hear them putsing around. I am trying to remember to always potty outside, but sometimes I forget. I like to play with my foster sisters, RUN and especially like to cuddle and give kisses. My foster dad thinks I have a sensitive tummy, though, so you will need to be careful what you feed me. I was in a home where the people didn’t take very good care of me, but now I am so happy with my foster family and can’t wait to find a nice forever home. I am okay on a leash, but a fenced yard would be great! If you are interested in adopting Lil Bit, please visit http://www.marilynsvoice.org click on adopt to fill out our online adoption agreement

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lil Bit, a Mentor Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mentor, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mentor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mentor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mentor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mentor paves the way for another one to be saved.
