Bubba's Story...
Bubba is a 7 year old neutered English Bulldog whose owner could no longer care for him. He came to us with very sore ear tips and will be under a Vet's care to make him more comfortable. This wonderful boy will capture your heart in a way you won't expect. Poor Bubba is not the most handsome guy in town, but his personality makes up for his looks. Bubba has some muscle atrophy on his head and thickness on the edges of his ears. We suspect it may be caused by a Thyroid issue. He is receiving Vet care, and will be a new man before long. It was reported that Bubba is a great family dog and gets along with children of all ages.

If you want to apply for Bubba click here. You can then email the application to the Meridian Valley Humane Society. Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bubba, a Meridian English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog for sale in Meridian, or seeking a English Bulldog dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog breeders who help with English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
