Rufus's Story...
'Introducing Rufus. He is 3 years old and was an owner surrender. He is a red, long-haired tweenie and weighs 13 pounds. He loves to snuggle and play with his chew toys. He is good with kids and other dogs. He has not been tested on cats. Rufus is looking for their forever home near Florida, but transport can be arranged.' Rufus came from an elderly lady who I think had a very calm house. He is a bit timid and he seems like a one-person dog. He sticks to his foster mom like glue. He seems to startle and run with loud noises or ruckus but does not get aggressive. dogs. he does however have some food aggression with other dogs so it would be best to feed him separately from any other dog, His personality is pretty mellow when the house is quiet. He walks well on a leash, no pulling at all. He is housetrained as well.
