My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stinker is currently being kept indoors only, in a spare bedroom. He is a very sweet cat that loves to get pets. He has recently been allowed access to the entire house though at this point seems to prefer the spare bedroom he had been kept in. He will explore some, and at night has stopped by for some petting and attention as well as giving some licking to the hand as well as a little finger tip nibbling.

Having grown up an indoor/outdoor kitten and cat and then losing his outdoor access, it is only natural for a cat to have a slightly skittish nature. He does sometimes pull back if he feels he has been approached too abruptly.

He is very good about using the litter box.

Birth Date: June 28, 2013

Medical: Vet wellness 6-26-2014, FeLV/FIV negative. A little bit of tearing in one eye for which eye drops were prescribed. Ear tipped to indicate neuter. Dewormed.

To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and either come to an adoption event or arrange to meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
