This adorable little girl is Lady, a 4 year old yorkie/schnauzer mix that came to us from our Newark facility in search of a wonderful home of her own. Lady had a home, but they gave her away. Then when that person flat-out "didn't want her", they turned her in. You would think that you would be a little depressed to have that happened to you, but not Lady. She is an absolute joy! She is so incredibly friendly and outgoing, and she makes friends with you the moment you meet her. Lady just loves getting attention and she is a pro at getting people to give her some. She stands on her hind legs and gently rests her paws and head on your knees until you notice her. She is very polite and well mannered, and super sweet. Lady walks perfectly on a leash and sits nicely when asked. She enjoys a leisurely stroll and while in our exercise yard, she prefers to be with you than play with toys. Lady doesn't seem to mind other dogs and just loves people. She would make a wonderful addition to any loving family that promises to care for her always, and never let her go again.
