My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BAILEY is an 8 year old yellow neutered male who weighs 97 pounds (ideal about 85 lbs ~ on green bean and exercise diet). He's a happy dog who thinks everyone should get a chance to meet him and get a kiss!! He hasn't met anyone he doesn't like. He's an easy going dog who is satisfied with a nice leisurely walk and someone to hang out with. Bailey is good with other dogs ~ Knows sit, come and down. He pulls a little on lead when you first start walking him. House and crate trained as a puppy, he hasn't used a crate in several years. His previous owner's also allowed him to get on furniture. Bailey came from the suburbs and does not like the noise and hubbub of a big city environment ,so he's not suitable to live in an apartment or busy neighborhood. Having formerly lived with small children so he approved for kids aged 5+.

Update (7/28): Bailey has been the model foster - he is so sweet and well behaved. Bailey has wonderful house manners and even will come over and give a little whimper when he needs to go potty. Bailey did great with run of the house for a few hours and didn't touch a thing. He knows basic commands very well and loves to go for walks. He is the perfect combination of mellow, sweet, and playful. He loves to play with the resident dogs and loves toys. He doesn't seem to be afraid of thunderstorms or vacuums. He is such a terrific boy!

Update (7/26): Bailey is the easiest dog ever. He loves playing with other dogs and gets along with them great inside. His favorite thing to do is play tug with the resident dogs! He's also great with cats. He has made himself at home very quickly and just seems very happy to be sprung from the vet. He is very spunky and fun, but at the same time very gentle and sweet. He seems to be fully house trained - he even came over to his foster and gave a little whimper when he needed to go out. A++ for this boy in his first few hours.
