My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a 1-year-old spayed female Chihuahua/Toy Fox Terrier mix. I weigh about 7 pounds. Before we came to CageFree, my two pups and I were living in Mexico. We were staying with a really nice lady that rescued us from some guy that no longer wanted us. Apparently he was really close to kicking us all to the curb. Thank goodness our rescuer found us when she did. We were really scared and starving when we showed up at her house. She fed us, vaccinated us and gave us plenty of love. It didn't take long before we all started to feel comfortable enough to play. We had tons of fun there and even made other canine friends. We knew that our housing situation was temporary, and someday we would all find our own families so we cherished every moment we had with each other. One afternoon we were told that we we're off to California. One of my puppies had already been adopted by a nice family in Mexico so it was my myself, my other puppy, and some canine friends of ours that made the trip to West LA. I had never been to California before, but I had heard many great stories about it. We showed up at CageFree with all our hopes and dreams. We were bathed, treated for fleas and ticks, and given warm, comfy crates to sleep in. We had to spend a few days in isolation before we were allowed to join the rest of the dogs on the playground, though. Everyone wanted to make sure that we were healthy before we met our new canine friends. It wasn't that bad, but boy were we excited when we were let out. Now we spend all our time playing, eating, and snoozing in the warm California sun. As much fun as I am having here, I am looking forward to having a home to call my own. I'm looking for a family that will love me and shower me with all the attention I need. I'm a really sweet girl with a happy demeanor. I have a cute little tail that never stops wagging. Whenever I see my human companions I get really excited and run up to them with a great big grin on my face. I'm loving, gentle, smart, and adorable. I think I would make a great addition to any family! If you would like to come meet me, please don't hesitate to contact CageFree and tell them you want to schedule a time to come out!
