Kate's Story...
Approximate DOB: March 2014

Hi my name is Kate, Princess Kate to be exact. My family was rescued from a shelter where we were facing an uncertain future. Thankfully a FFN foster mom found us just in time! We are quite regal so our foster mom named us after the British Royal Family. I love my brothers and would love to have one of them as a playmate or have another feline playmate in my new home. I am a GORGEOUS fluff ball with lots of love to give. I love to interact with other cats and be playful, but I can also be calm and relaxed. I love to be around others and snuggle with them, especially during nap time. I very much enjoy human attention and love, but I also love to be feisty and wrestle with other cats. I am patiently tolerating the young children in my foster home but if I could avoid them in my new home that would be great! I have been spayed, received my vaccinations and have been microchipped, making me more than ready to find a home of my own. I am a cute and loving kitten who wants a family of my own, so please adopt me!

This kitty has had her initial vaccinations, de-worming, flea/tick preventative, has tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and has been micro-chipped and altered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kate, a Carlisle Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Carlisle, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Carlisle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlisle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlisle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlisle paves the way for another one to be saved.
