Elizabeth (Pending)'s Story...
Approx DOB: June 2012

Hi my name is Elizabeth, Queen Elizabeth to be exact. My family was rescued from a shelter where we were facing an uncertain future. Thankfully a FFN foster mom found us just in time! We are quite regal so our foster mom named us after the British Royal Family. I love my babies but I am ready for a home of my own. I am a GORGEOUS fluff ball with lots of love to give. I am calm and relaxed but do love to play with toys. I would be fine as an only cat but am OK with others as well. I very much enjoy human attention and love. I am patiently tolerating the young children in my foster home but if I could avoid them in my new home that would be great! I have been spayed, received my vaccinations and have been microchipped, making me more than ready to find a home of my own. I am a cute and loving cat who wants a family of my own, so please adopt me!

This kitty has had initial vaccinations, de-worming, flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and been micro-chipped and altered (or will be micro-chipped and altered prior to adoption).

Adoption fee is 1/2 off for the second kitty adopted at same time. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax).

If you are interested in adopting a kitty(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to / ADOPT tab / CAT Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet kitties you might be interested in. We are an all volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elizabeth (Pending), a Carlisle Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Carlisle, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Carlisle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlisle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlisle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlisle paves the way for another one to be saved.
