Patrick's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Patrick's Story...
Patrick is a young (6-12 months) lab mix. He is about 11 lbs, UTD on vaccines and heartworm negative. Patrick was surrendered to the shelter with Dexter (also available for adoption). Our rescue has stepped in, and he will be in foster care as of Saturday 7/26/14. He's a little nervous in the shelter environment, but we are confident he will flourish in a loving home. We will post more information on Patrick as it becomes available. We cannot wait to help him find the loving home he deserves! Patrick's adoption fee will be $300, plus a $50 neuter deposit (refundable upon proof of neuter).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patrick, a Hockessin Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Hockessin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Hockessin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hockessin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hockessin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hockessin paves the way for another one to be saved.
