Cody is an adorable 3 year old miniature Poodle with the best personality. He does great with all people, kids, and other dogs and suspect he would do well with cats as well. He is a real cuddlebug and he loves being a lap dog. He LOVES going for walks and car rides and is housetrained and crate trained. Adapts easily to new situations. In our short time with him, he has stayed overnight in three different houses. He loves to travel and ride in the car. We have already had a 9 hour one way trip to Florida with him, in which he did great both ways. My biggest concern with someone traveling with this guy would be they would forget he was in the backseat because he is so quiet.
When Cody was first pulled, he stayed a few nights with another foster mom, and they too saw the same kind of sweetness and quietness. He also immediately bonded with a groomer, and did great during his grooming. He also loved his photographer who did the great pictures.
This is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever been around. Before he totally trusted us, he would lie on our feet. He is now in our laps. I don't see him being a big player, but instead more of a loyal "wanting to stay right with you" dog. He also loves to rub on my leg, and one day was making a noise that sounded like a purr. I cannot say enough about the gentleness, humbleness and total sweetness of this dog. If you want a cuddle and love you to the end of the time dog, Cody is for you. He also seems to be very intelligent. Did I mention how much I love this sweet little boy? Cody is being fostered in or close to Charlotte NC
