Visitors of the shelter will recognize Faith. After spending over two and a half years in the shelter she's become a nearly permanent fixture! As her 3rd birthday approaches in the next few weeks she's hoping to find her way to a better living situation. She's been well cared for in the shelter, and she has fans that enjoy seeing her. However, shelter life is a transitional experience, which isn't meant to be a permanent situation. Faith was 4 months old when she was brought to the shelter by the ACO; giving up her life as a stray she began transitioning to indoor life. She's done generally well adjusting to "pet" life, but a few things have remained... Faith will still choose to run when she has the chance, she likes to hiss at you when you move too fast for her liking, and generally she likes to live life in her way. She's not the "perfect" cat, obsessed with laps and people, but she's a good cat and she deserves a home where she can live her life in comfort. Just because she was born outdoors doesn't mean she should be deprived of comfort; she's not feral, she's just finicky. If you have room in your life, home, and heart for a cat that that wants nothing more than to just be herself, please consider coming out to meet this special lady.

About Forever Paws Animal Shelter,Inc.

About Our Shelter...

Forever Paws Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We believe there is a home out there for every animal we take in. We work to give each animal the gift of time, therefore we are a no-kill shelter.
Every animal taken into the shelter is given complete veterinary care, is neutered or spayed, evaluated and when available some training and behavioral rehabilitation, if needed.
Our shelter mission is to provide suitable care, food, shelter and humane treatment for any abandoned, owner surrendered, sick, lame, overworked, old, cruelly treated and/or confiscated dog, cat, or any other domesticated animal. Educating the public concerning animal welfare and owner responsibility for the purpose of advocating humane treatment for animals and to prevent animals from being sold or given to laboratories or institutions and/or subjected to experimentation. Our motto is to "give animals a new leash on life".
