Meet Jax, an 3 year old 54(ish) lbs captivating pittie mix! His former owner surrendered him into the NYACC because he no longer wanted him anymore- we have no idea how anyone can resist that face!
This boy is happy through and through! He is dog and cat friendly, potty trained, LOVES LOVES LOVES BABIES AND KIDS, and knows basic commands. Jax is excited to hear you call him, and sits- waiting for a treat and eager to please! Although he is not the biggest fan of the great outdoors, Jax loves engaging in play no matter where he is. You name a sport, and he is an expert- ball chasing, tug of war, kissing, etc. Jax also gladly occupies himself with chew toys! Jax is a generous licker and lover! He will follow you around the house and go between your legs when you walk- literally. Want some love? Get down low; and, he is in your lap. Watch out for the ear licks!
Jax does do well with cats. In fact, a cat did put Jax in his place more than once. Of course, Jax is completely emotionally unscathed by this and never retaliates and his eagerness to play lives on! He would be great in a home with another young dog for him to play with.
This stunning boy is a quick learner and eager for training! He is really an all around awesome puppy and anyone would fall in love with him! Just look at that face! He almost always has one ear up and one ear down and it is just to die for!
