On your mark! Get set! Go! And they’re off! Welcome to the 2014 Family Dogs Love Derby! I am your host, Derby, and I will be bringing you play-by-play analysis of this momentous event! For those of you unfamiliar with the Derby, here is a quick recap: I am Derby and I have been looking for love ever since I was picked up off the streets. Entering into a system of unfamiliarity and an ambiguous future, I decided to create my own destiny. After arriving here at Family Dogs, I founded the Love Derby to help me find love in no short order! It’s a race to my heart and you’re in first place! Bold, I know, but I can’t wait around here forever! A couple of obstacles to look out for while you are out on the course are my aversion to cats, my need to find a home with respectful children 10+, and my bossy attitude with other dogs, regardless of their size. But once you cross the finish line and reach the winner’s circle of my heart, you’ll be rewarded with my excellent personality, exceptional crate training skills, and blue ribbon cuddle powers! So pick up the pace ‘cause if you win the Love Derby you’ll get to love Derby! 2 years old-8lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes: neuter, microchip, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam,1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.
