Remington's Story...
Remington is a famous name in firearms, and although our Remington looks powerful and intimidating, at heart he is a big softie who loves people, especially children. Remington also gets along with large dogs, small dogs, and cats, so he is a versatile guy who can fit in just about anywhere. True to his name, Remington is fast and strong, and very protective of his foster family. He's a big fellow, but needs to gain some weight, which will make him even more imposing at first glance. But spend some time with him and you will find that he is gentle and affectionate, and just loves a good tummy rub. Remington is very intelligent, and already knows basic commands such as sit, down, and shake. He is the kind of dog that wants to be near his family, following them from room to room. He is house broken and crate trained, and loves to go places in the car. He does need some work learning to walk smoothly on a leash, but a smart guy like Remington should be able to pick that up in no time. He'll be fun to take for a walk or a run, because he has a beautiful shiny coat, and a handsome appearance that is sure to turn heads wherever he goes. If you think Remington is the one for you, please ask about him today. He is eagerly waiting for someone to make his dream of a loving home come true.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Remington, a Houston German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Houston, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
