Dingo's Story...
Dingo originally came to us as a young puppy only 3 weeks old. He was raised in his foster home with his siblings, surrounded by love and kindness. When he was old enough, this confident and outgoing boy was adopted. Unfortunately, about a year later he was returned to us in rescue a very shy boy who had not been socialized any further in the time that he was in the home. He is slowly re-learning how to navigate the big wide world. Reserved when you first meet him, he bonds very quickly to anyone willing to be sweet to him. He would like to find a very calm, patient environment to flourish in. He is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated . Their adoption fee is $300.00 . If you are interesting in adopting, your next step is to complete an application at http://www.OnMyWayHomeRescue.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dingo, a Henderson Whippet/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Whippet/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Henderson, or seeking a Whippet/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Henderson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Henderson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Henderson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Whippet/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Whippet/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Henderson paves the way for another one to be saved.
