Emily & Zoey's Story...
Zoey
Zoey was saved from an abusive person by a homeless man in North Carolina. She is approx 2 yr old Greyhound mix who loves playing ball. She will play fetch until she is exhausted. She walks pretty well on a leash, but is excited and pulls a bit at first. She is very affectionate and happy. She goes into a crate without much prompting, but does not like being confined too much. She listens well and knows some basic commands but will need reinforcing and probably would do very well with some additional training. She gets along well with other dogs but if a ball is around, she has little interest in anything else.

Emily
Emily was obtained by a homeless man who saw a Free Puppy ad on Craig's List. She is approx 5 yr old Husky/GSD mix who loves people and other dogs. She plays fairly hard, but has never been too rough and will listen when told to stop. She is affectionate and happy. She goes into her crate readily and seems more content inside than her sister. She knows basic commands but would do very well with some additional training. She was diagnosed with having Lyme disease, but does not show any symptoms. The vet explained that she might never develop symptoms, but meds would be the treatment and she would have a normal life if symptoms do develop.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emily & Zoey, a Bunnell Husky/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Bunnell, or seeking a Husky/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Bunnell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bunnell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bunnell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Husky/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bunnell paves the way for another one to be saved.
