Vicky's Story...
Hi there! I’m Vicky, and I’m so glad to meet you. I’m a little brown tabby with white ‘socks’ and beautiful green eyes. I’ve been at Maxfund since March of 2014, so I’m still adjusting to my new environment. However, I’m making lots of progress and working hard to make the best of my situation.

You may not notice me as you walk into my room. Why is that? I love to climb! I climb cat trees, shelves, and anything else around! If you can’t find me, look up. You may see me perched on a high shelf, watching over my domain with a few of my best buddies.

No one is quite sure how I do around dogs, but I am great with other cats. My cat friends and I love to sit together up on top of the cat trees in our room. I can be a bit shy around people, but I’m not known to be mean. As I settle in to my room at the shelter, I may become friendlier. Needless to say, life is a little tough at the moment.

I may be a bit of a wallflower now, but in a loving home, I’m sure my true personality will shine through. Come and see me soon! I’ll be looking forward to your visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vicky, a Denver Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Denver, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
