Sweet Mama (JD)'s Story...
Sweet Momma is a pointer mix with a beautiful disposition. She was picked up on the side of the road with 9 new born puppies by Animal Control and taken to a kill shelter. She and her babies have been rescued, fed and loved by their foster family and are now ready to find their forever homes. Sweet Momma is a bit underweight and extremely timid but the love she shows on her face when approached is amazing and heartwarming. She has a grin that will make most anyone smile. She would be perfect for any family, young or old and gets along great with other pets. She has been a fantastic momma to her babies and is passive even to them. She is house trained and very well behaved inside and out.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweet Mama (JD), a Spring Valley Hound (Unknown Type)/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Pointer for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Pointer dog from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Pointer breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
