My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Collins is a HAPPY, PLAYFUL and SWEET PUPPY! Did we mention that he's ADORABLE and AFFECTIONATE as well? As you can see on his video, he LOVES TO PLAY WITH THE DOGS AT THE SHELTER. Because he is just a pup, and has been caged for so many weeks, he appears to be rather high energy but when he gets the chance to burn it off, he is a 'totally’ different dog. He would enjoy a backyard, long walks, visits to the dog parks, kids to play with or runs with his new master. Another dog would be great for him. He came to the shelter as a stray on July 21st and has been given lots of extensions, because both staff and volunteers just love him, but he needs to move on. Dogs are not generally kept this long. Collins is just 7 months old and currently weighs 30 lbs. He is a SMART BOY and EAGER TO PLEASE. Collins is at the perfect age to begin puppy school with his new owners. He is QUIET IN HIS CAGE and much smaller than he appears in his photos. Collin's is current on his vaccines, neutered, heartworm tested negative and micro chipped so he is ready to go home with you today. His ID # is 567821 and he can be found in cage 332 in the puppy/small dog room. Come pick up your puppy today, he's ready for you!

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. This beautiful pet and many others need a forever, loving home and are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter, 1060 Al Bishop Drive Marietta, Georgia 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information.
