Dulce's Story...
Rescued by our sister organization in Mexico, we named her Dulce which is Spanish for sweet. Dulce is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Boxer mix, approximately two years old. She is unbelievably tender and loving. While at the sanctuary we would often place any new orphaned puppies with her for some gentle mothering. At over 60 pounds, Dulce is a big girl and needs a strong hand to guide her. She loves the water and to run and play. If you are looking for a dog to be a part of your physically active life, Dulce would be perfect. She is currently in foster care in Nanaimo, awaiting her fur-ever home. Dulce has been spayed, dewormed and is current on her vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dulce, a Nanaimo Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Nanaimo, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Nanaimo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nanaimo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nanaimo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nanaimo paves the way for another one to be saved.
