Sherbet's Story...
Hi! My name is Sherbet. I am about 18 months old. I am an orange tabby with soft, beautiful, long hair. My owner could no longer keep me because his 3-year-old son became allergic to us all. My mom came with me, with her kittens and her pregnant sister. I was very sad and shy my first night at Crummel's Angels, as all of my kittens were given away. I started helping my mom take care of her babies. Then, more kittens came, so I started taking care of them! I have since raised at least 6 babies! I love attention!! I will reach out for you if you walk by without petting me. I will follow you around and talk to you. If you pet me all day, I would love you forever!
Do you have a home for this little angel? Please contact Crummel's Angels if interested in meeting Sherbet!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sherbet, a Kalamazoo Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Kalamazoo, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Kalamazoo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kalamazoo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kalamazoo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kalamazoo paves the way for another one to be saved.
